Developer Renegade Kid is prepping to release Mutant Mudds Deluxe for the PlayStation Network sometime this holiday season. Director Jools Watsham made the announcement on his Twitter account, where he also mentioned the Cross-Buy and Cross-Save functionality between the PlayStation 3 and Vita  versions.

“Mutant Mudds Deluxe on PS3 / PS Vita will be Cross-Buy and Cross-Save. How cool is that!? :) Aiming for Christmas release,” tweeted the dev.

Well, that’s good to know. I recently played Mutant Mudds Deluxe on a PlayStation 3 at IndieCade (expect a preview later today), and it was just as much fun as the original Nintendo eShop version. For indie-loving folks who don’t own Nintendo platforms, I’d highly suggest you watch out for this one on the PlayStation Network.
