Renegade Kid’s Jools Watsham took to his blog to release an update on the status of Mutant Mudds Deluxe on the PlayStation Network. According to the developer, the game will hit Sony’s download platform on December 17.

Mutant Mudds Deluxe will be available on both the PlayStation 3 and Vita, and it’ll utilize Cross-Buy and Cross-Save functionality. The pixelated platformer will run you $9.99, which is totally worth it, as indicated in our preview of the game. Not to mention the game’s also been released on the 3DS, Wii U, and PC to much acclaim.

Sadly, Watsham also mentioned that the development of Mutant Mudds 2 was being put on hold for the time being. The game hasn’t been canceled, but due to Renegade Kid also working on Treasurenauts (among a few other projects), the game has been put on the back burner for a bit.
