Smash Bros

If you were wondering whether or not you should pick up both versions of the upcoming Super Smash Bros. for the Wii U and 3DS, perhaps this latest tidbit of info will help you make up your mind. According to a Miiverse post from director Masahiro Sakurai, the two versions of the game will feature different trophies.

On the Wii U, Smash Bros. will boast trophies based on home console games. Meanwhile the 3DS version will include trophies modeled after characters, themes, and items from handheld titles.

I already figured I’d get both the Wii U and 3DS versions of Smash Bros., but now I know I’ll have to shell out the cash for both on launch day. There’s just something totally rewarding about collecting those sweet Smash Bros. trophies. For me personally, not even snagging Achievements and Trophies on Microsoft and Sony’s platforms is as satisfying.
