The Vita version of Q-Games’ massively popular strategy game PixelJunk Monsters Ultimate HD is the latest free goodie for PlayStation Plus subscribers.

The game puts you in the role of Tikiman the Forest Defender. It’s up to you to save the land and your little Tiki tykes from being destroyed by monstrous critters.

PixelJunk Monsters is really a fine game, but the Vita version almost seems like the ideal choice on account of its portability. If you’ve yet to play it, be sure to give it a look-see.
