The Evil Within

Speaking of delays, you can now add The Evil Within to the list of anticipated games that have just recently been pushed back. Thankfully, this one’s a fairly short delay.

Rather than hitting consoles and PC this August, the project from Bethesda Softworks and developer Tango Gameworks will be arriving to North America on October 21. That means we’ll potentially have something scary to play as Halloween draws near!

According to a press release sent out by Bethesda, the delay is due to Director Shinji Mikami and Tango Gameworks asking for “time to further balance and refine the game in order to deliver the polished, terrifying pure survival horror experience they set out to create.”

In addition, the publisher also revealed that folks who pre-order The Evil Within will be treated to The Fighting Chance Pack. This includes a medkit, attribute-boosting gel, shotgun, incendiary crossbow bolt, and poison crossbow bolt.

The Evil Within will launch on the Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PC.
