Don’t count the PS2 out just yet. Another one of Sony’s more prominent PSP titles will make the jump to its console platform of yesteryear. That title is espionage thriller Syphon Filter: Logan’s Shadow, originally released as a portable offering in 2007.

Sony Bend, responsible for creating the original title, is handling development duties on the port. The studio says it has worked in several tweaks in order to accommodate the platform switchover. Notable additions consist of “a snap button to make getting in and out of cover easier,” along with binding “swing out and aim” to L1, a mechanic that promises to make “combat more intuitive.”

Additionally, the Logan’s Shadow port has been given a visual facelift of sorts, leveraging the PS2 hardware to allow for higher resolution textures and effects. Look for it to hit store shelves next month on June 1.
