Nintendo has just revealed their latest gaming handheld, the 3DS which was announced earlier this year. The 3DS will feature 2 screens, one widescreen that supports the 3D technology and the lower one which has a touchscreen. The 3DS will also feature a new analog control stick, 2 cameras for capturing images in 3D and a front-facing camera for use with the DSi games.

The system features an improved graphics processor which will allow for even greater visual experiences to go along with the new 3D capability. Some of the games that will be available for the 3DS include Metal Gear Solid, Kid Icarus Uprising, Saints Row, Kingdom Hearts, Resident Evil, Assassin’s Creed, Ridge Racers, and Nintendogs + Cats.

The new system will also take greater advantage of the built-in WiFi by connecting to other devices or the internet while sleeping in order to pull new content over to the device. I was unable to get my hands on the system today but I will do my best to get hands on tomorrow to give you my impressions of the new system.
