Marks “Notch” Perrson tweeted a few moments ago about a new site which revealed a new game in development by the creators of Minecraft. The new title, Scrolls, is described as a project that has been on the minds of Perrson and Jakob “JahKob” Porser for 5 years now, with development just starting on the game.

Porser describes the game’s concept on the website as something that has never been done before. The game will bridge two genres, classic card and board games while introducing strategic mechanics on top. While details on the game are still sparse, the page shows two cards, both looking to have attack and health values as well as resource cost. Congratulations on the new title guys and good luck!
