Joining the “Only On PSN” program in the store update this week are exclusives PixelJunk SideScroller from developer Q-Games and Sucker Punch’s downloadable inFAMOUS: Festival of Blood.

Halloween is almost upon us and, as you may have guessed, Sony and Sucker Punch want to mark the occasion.

AS in inFAMOUS 2, the ‘Festival of Blood’ story arc is set in New Marais; however, the city is celebrating Halloween with street parties and fireworks and Cole will have all new season-inspired powers at his disposal. The game is being released standalone though inFAMOUS 2 owners can purchase it as an expansion.

Built on the same engine as it’s previous “Shooter” games, Q-Games’ PixelJunk SideScroller brings a whole new, or rather ‘old school’, experience to fans of the series. While you may recognize some enemies from previous games the developer has promised there’s plenty of new ones and game mechanics to keep things fresh.
