Datel today announced availability of the Wii FreeLoader, a disc-based solution for bypassing the Wii’s region lock on games. The software is now available at the official Codejunkies website for $19.99.

Wii FreeLoader is really easy to use. Simply insert your FreeLoader disc and load it in the usual way. When the drive stops, eject the Wii FreeLoader disc and insert the game, which then loads and plays just like it would on its own region of Wii. It’s as simple as that!

The Wii FreeLoader, according to Datel, works on all current firmwares, but Nintendo may attempt to block the product in a future update — if the past is any indication that is.
