Strategy RPG aficionados will be happy to learn that La Pucelle: Tactics will be dropping on the PlayStation Network this week. News of this game’s possible appearance as a PlayStation 2 Classic had surfaced before, and a post on the PlayStation Blog confirmed it.

La Pucelle: Tactics is often revered among strategy RPG fanatics. The game delivered a dark tale about demons, a cast of charmingly adorable characters, and satisfying tactical gameplay. Suffice it to say, if you dig this kind of stuff and haven’t played La Pucelle: Tactics, you may want to check it out on the PlayStation Network.

It should be noted that publisher Mastiff previously censored the NIS America game heavily here in North America. All images of crosses were removed from the game, Hell was changed to the Dark World, and Croix was seen without his signature cigarette. Despite these alterations, La Pucelle: Tactics still received its share of acclaim in North America.

If you’ve got a hankering for some tactical RPG gameplay or just want to revisit a favorite amongst fans of the genre, watch out for La Pucelle: Tactics.
