Bethesda Says It’s ‘Close’ on Skyrim DLC for PS3

For a while now PlayStation 3 owners have been wondering when and if they’ll get DLC for The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim. The past several months have been rife with confusion and speculation, but now Bethesda has addressed the fans’ concerns. Well, kind of. It’s really more like an update of an update.

The company took to Twitter and announced that add-on content for both the PlayStation 3 and PC versions of Skyrim wasn’t very far off. “To update: we’re also close on new Skyrim content for PS3 and PC,” tweeted Bethesda.

While that particular update may be fairly ambiguous, it’s still better than a previous announcement Bethesda made where it stated that the content might never be available on the PlayStation 3. Here’s hoping fans do get new content as it’s a total shame that PlayStation 3 users got the short end of the bargain with Dawnguard.
