After speculation that Batgirl was one of the upcoming DLC characters for Injustice: Gods Among Us, it looks like it’s official. According to a report on Event Hubs, the character popped up under the game’s downloadable content option.

The video below confirms that Batgirl will be available for Injustice soon. Currently, Lobo is due out on May 7 and will be the first add-on fighter in the DC-themed title.

Frankly, it’s a bit disappointing that Batgirl (and Lobo, for that matter) wasn’t already included in Injustice. Seriously, she was a no-brainer, and it’s kind of cheap that fans are expected to shell out cash for a DC mainstay like Batgirl.

In any case, two of the four rumored DLC characters have been correct. I guess now all I have to do is wait for the Zodd and Scorpion to be officially revealed.
