EA Lists Mirror’s Edge 2 Help Page Then Removes It

Mirror's Edge

Last week a listing for Mirror’s Edge 2 popped up on the German Amazon page. It was swiftly removed, but it looks like we haven’t seen the last of the game. Yesterday EA posted a help page for the currently unannounced sequel (which you can see a screen grab of on Destructoid), but like you probably expected, the listing was removed immediately.

So what does this all mean? It’s possible that we’ll get a Mirror’s Edge 2 announcement at this year’s E3. Whether the game will be revealed for current or next-gen platforms (or both) remains to be seen, but hopefully all is revealed in a couple of weeks at the massive games trade show. Of course, that’s all speculation at this point, but it’s certainly fun to think about.

EA has entertained the idea of creating a Mirror’s Edge sequel in the past, going as far as saying that it’s not finished with the IP just yet. Here’s hoping we get some answers on all of these premature listings soon.
