Been waiting for a price drop on PS Vita hardware? Amazon.com is now listing the WiFi edition for $199.99 – a $50 reduction over the original MSRP. This is likely an official drop in preparation for Sony’s Gamescom press event tomorrow, where it is also expected to announce a release date for the PS4.

Here’s hoping the price cut also translates to cheaper memory cards, which are still rather expensive at $80 for a 32GB. Chances are we’ll find out tomorrow, unless Amazon jumps the gun on that as well.
