La-Mulana 2

Much to the joy of many an indie gaming fan, La-Mulana 2 has been funded on Kickstarter. The game just recently hit its $200,000 goal on the crowdfunding site with five days left for its campaign to rack up some extra dough (four days at the time of writing).

Developed by Nigoro and published by Playism, La-Mulana 2 is the sequel to the hit 2D action-adventure game La-Mulana, which launched in Japan in 2005. Now the dev team is looking to spark familiar magic while delivering a brand new exploration-based adventure within the same universe.

Currently, La-Mulana 2 is slated for launch on the PC, though other platforms may follow. The game isn’t due out until December 2015, so we’ve still got a ways to go before the release.
