Retro City Rampage DX

Retro City Rampage DX has been doing quite well for developer Vblank Entertainment since launching on the 3DS on February 6. When asked by Destructoid on Twitter how sales were going, creator Brian Provinciano replied that the game had found a good level of success.

“It’s doing great on 3DS!” he tweeted. He followed that up with an intriguing, promising comment, saying, “I’d love to do another 3DS game.”

In addition to another potential 3DS title, Provinciano also noted the possibility of a Wii U project down the road. The dev has been in possession of a devkit for over a year, so we could see a Wii U game from him sometime in the future.

I had a blast playing Retro City Rampage on the PlayStation Network and PC, so I’m glad to know that it’s been a success on the 3DS, as well. I’m also pretty stoked to see just what Provinciano could come up with in the future, whether he develops on the 3DS, Wii U, or other platforms.
