For those of you who are desperately clamoring for a sequel to Naughty Dog’s hit 2013 release The Last of Us, there’s definitely hope, though nothing is set in stone.

Speaking on Reddit, Creative Director Neil Druckmann said the chances of a Last of Us sequel happening were “50/50.” So there you have it — not quite a “no,” but also not necessarily a “yes.” Um, yay?

Personally, I thought Naughty Dog’s latest endeavor was an excellent standalone experience that didn’t need a follow-up. If it happens, I’ll play it. If not, I’ll be completely happy with the franchise as it is.
