For some time it definitely seemed as if The Binding of Isaac on the 3DS was never going to happen. While the game hasn’t been confirmed for Nintendo’s dual screen handheld, it’s become somewhat of a potential release for the system.
When asked by a fan if Isaac on the 3DS was completely off the grid, creator Edmund McMillen responded with a simple “no.”
Well, that’s not the lengthiest, most explanatory answer, but it’ll do. At least it opens up the realm of possibility.
Originally, McMillen intended on releasing Isaac on Nintendo platforms, but those plans were scrapped after Nintendo rejected the game on account of what the company called “questionable religious content.”
