Recovery Flasher v1.40

by Mike Bendel October 21, 2008 @ 11:37 am

Homebrew developer Hellcat has released an update to Recovery Flasher, a utility that allow users to perform various maintenance tasks on their PSP, from restoring flash-based content (PS Store license data, theme files) to fully re-installing 3.71, 4.01, or 5.00 M33 firmware without the need of Pandora.

Version 1.4.0 adds support for installing 5.00 M33, as well as an option that, when enabled, caches all special modules from update EBOOTs located on your Memory Stick. If present, Recovery Flasher will use the cached files instead, meaning the update EBOOTs can be safely deleted to save on space if you have no further use for them. The complete changelog can be found after the jump.

*  Added native support for installing a fresh 5.00-M33
* Added option to cache the special modules from all updater .PBP currently on your memstick.
