A DC-themed fighting game? Surely, Catwoman has to be in it, right? While the sexy feline enthusiast of the DC universe wasn’t announced during the initial reveal of Injustice: Gods Among Us, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has made it official: Catwoman is the latest fighter to join the game’s roster.

Armed with her deadly acrobatic abilities, a painful whip, and sharp claws, Catwoman will definitely be a force to be reckoned with when Injustice hits the scene next year. She seems to be a speedy and agile character, which should prove quite useful for folks who like to employ fast-paced offense and defense in their fighting games.

Like the rest of the Injustice cast, Catwoman’s costume has been completely revised by developer NetherRealm Studios. Personally, I dig the new threads. The outfit manages to look completely fresh while still retaining that classic Catwoman appeal.

Injustice is due out for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Wii U. Watch out for it in 2013. And Catwoman fans, get ready to wreak havoc and scratch your way to victory!
