Naughty Dog has revealed its post-launch plans for The Last of Us, as well as its incentives for folks who purchase the game digitally via the PlayStation Store. Three add-on packs are currently planned for the game, with one of them being a story-based expansion and the remaining two being based around the multiplayer component.
In addition to the retail version of The Last of Us, Sony and Naughty Dog are also offering a digital edition. This version of the game will include some day one gameplay enhancements including faster crafting, health recovery, and reloading, as well as a rifle clip capacity upgrade. Digital buyers will also get a 90-minute “making of” documentary.
The Last of Us is due out for the PlayStation 3 on June 14. The regular and digital versions of the game are priced at $59.99, while the season pass will run you $19.99.
