Armikrog

The last time I posted something about Armikrog, the spiritual successor to The Neverhood from Pencil Test Studios, it seemed as though the project was going to fail to reach its Kickstarter goal. After being $250,000 short with just a few days left, it’d be difficult to say that there was any hope for this claymation title on the popular crowd-funding site. Thankfully, that wasn’t the case.

The Kickstarter campaign for Armikrog has officially ended, and the upcoming adventure game was able to hit a total of $974,578 in pledges. Not only did the title surpass its initial asking amount, but it also exceeded its Wii U stretch goal.

The sheer style of Armikrog is absolutely charming. Seriously, claymation is totally boss, man! Here’s hoping we can get our hands on this project sooner rather than later.
