You’ll Be Able to Play Xbox One Games While Downloading

Microsoft has confirmed that Xbox One users will be able to play games as they’re downloading to the system. A company representative revealed the news to Polygon earlier today, thus putting some folks’ eager minds to rest.
It was previously revealed that Xbox One games would be playable mid-installation. That’s definitely good to know as Microsoft announced that all disc-based games will require an installation on the console’s hard drive.
You may be aware that the two factoids listed above also pertain to the PlayStation 4. Sony previously stated that its upcoming platform will allow you to begin game play during downloads and installations. Great news for fans of both companies, eh?
