It is widely known that David Jaffe-helmed studio Eat Sleep Play is working on a new project for the PS3 platform. What that project is, no one knows for sure yet. However, we may now have a better idea of what it is exactly, as details regarding the project have inadvertently hit the web.

Jaffe uploaded a screenshot of an email correspondence with Scott Campbell earlier this afternoon, blurring areas of importance in a cryptic fashion. Despite this, certain letters on the email were still visible, which when extracted reveals several mentions of cars and human characters. Is this a Twisted Metal sequel with on-foot action?

Specific bits of text like “character falls to the ground,” “looks at approaching cars” as well as “human characters need improvement because right now it’s so dry” leads us to believe that it very well could be. Granted it could also be an entirely new IP with no direct relation to Twisted Metal, but that is unlikely, especially considering we know the franchise is PS3 bound.
