Fallout 3 DLC Hits PS3 Starting This June, New DLC In Dev for All Platforms

After a long wait, Fallout 3 DLC will finally come to the PS3 beginning in late June with Operation: Anchorage, Bethesda announced today. Also en route are two brand-new DLC areas headed to all supporting platforms.
The release of Operation: Anchorage for PS3 will be joined by content packs The Pitt and Broken Steel. While a specific timeline was not given, Beth noted that the release of each would be staggered, around “4-6 weeks apart.”

* Point Lookout – Explore a massive new swampland area filled with new quests and content.
* Mothership Zeta – The aliens have returned, and they’re pissed. Experience an alien abduction first hand and find out if you’re tough enough to survive.Point Lookout will be available in late June for Xbox 360 and PC. Cost will be 800 Microsoft Points. It will be available through Xbox Live and Games for Windows Live. Point Lookout will be available on PS3 after the first three DLCs have been released.

In addition to all this, Bethesda is prepping to release a “Game of the Year” edition of Fallout 3 in October, which will pack of the content released to date plus the upcoming DLC packs — all for $59.99 on PS3 and Xbox 360, while the PC counterpart will carry a slightly reduced price tag at $49.99.
For those that already own Fallout 3, the aforementioned content will be released via retail add-on packs, specific to Xbox 360 and PC. Due out May 26, the first pack is comprised of The Pitt and Operation: Anchorage and the second, which is slated for an August debut, include Broken Steel and Point Lookout.
