Square-Enix To Open Online Store

I envy Japan. They get a lot of neat collectibles and toys based off popular RPGs, like the Dragon Quest figurine pictured above. Of course, there’s always importing, but it would be more convenient (and less expensive) if we could buy these items from a US-based store.

The good news is that Square-Enix is planning to open up an online shop, full of licensed merchandise. Details are scarce, but the shop is supposedly opening up soon, and you can subscribe to Squenix’s mailing list to be notified of the grand opening. I’m really excited about this. I was taking a look at the Japanese store and there’s a bunch of Dragon Quest collectibles I’d like to get my hands on. Especially that Metal King!
