A photo originating from Netherlands-based fansite Sega Online suggests that our favorite hedgehog’s first Dreamcast outing — Sonic Adventure — is headed to Xbox Live Arcade. While we can’t vouch for its authenticity, the goods in question appear to have originated from PartnerNet, leaving us with little doubt that this is real.

Interestingly, depicted in the photo is a piece of supporting content, which reads “Sonic Adventure Extended Package” under the category of game add-ons. This could very well be the extra content that was added to the decidedly subpar DX GameCube re-release.

No word from Sega on when we might see the XBLA rendition of Sonic Adventure surface or if a PSN release is on cards, but with Project Needlemouse – Sega’s 2D Sonic project – slated to be unveiled later this year, it looks like we’ll be hearing more soon.
