Just Cause 2 Brilliantly Pays Homage To LOST

If 400 square miles of land prime for wrecking havoc and destruction on wasn’t enough of a reason to pick up Square Enix’s Avalanche Engine-powered shooter Just Cause 2, perhaps this is. In an obvious homage to the hit TV show LOST, flying over one of the game’s distant islands suddenly triggers a plane crash, inviting players to search and explore the inhabitants.
Replicated in vivid detail, plenty of nostalgia-inducing references from the show make an appearance on this lone island, including the mysterious metal-plated hatch.
Hats off, this certainly takes the cake. We’re sold. Footage of it can be viewed above thanks to YouTuber Cyborgmatt.
