Creat Studios today announced that enchanting side-scrolling platformer Freekscape: Escape From Hell will join the PlayStation Minis catalog this week. Playable on both PS3 and PSP, players assume the role of Freek, a tiny yet strong-willed demon who upon discovery of a holy trident, sets off on a journey to Heaven and flee from the engulfing flame pit that is hell.

Serving as a distinct gameplay mechanic, the trident allows Freek to capture crazy crawlers and turn them into different ability-enhancing tools. The title hits the PlayStation Store this week in North America and Europe on April 8 for $4.99 and €4.99 respectively.
