Ubisoft Confirms Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood, Unveil Next Week

Ubisoft has confirmed that the next Assassin’s Creed title is named Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood and will mark a franchise-first into the multiplayer space.
Earlier today, placeholder art from a GameStop promotional advertisement leaked via Kotaku. If the cover art and related blurbs are anything to go by, this entry stars a familiar face, Ezio, whose thirst for blood and revenge against The Templars knows no bounds. Players will command their own “brotherhood” in an effort to infiltrate and obliterate the enemy’s Rome-based headquarters.
This, by all accounts, is likely the mystery Assassin’s Creed title that Ubisoft was referring to back in February. “And for the first time, take part in an innovative multiplayer layer allowing you to embody an assassin of your choosing and define their killing style,” reads the advert.
Ubisoft has since confirmed the validity of these details, further noting that “more information” is coming next week.
