Firefox 4.0 Candidate Emerges in Nightly Builds

Mozilla has released the first Firefox 4.0 “candidate” last night. The new build, which can be found on their nightly build server, is the latest build for Firefox 4.0 which is due out later this year. With this new build you’ll get a nice taste of the new UI elements of Firefox 4.0 and a slight gain in performance.
It’s important to note that this is a candidate for the first beta build of Firefox 4.0. That said, it’s still going to be a while before we see an official release from Mozilla, but in the meantime this gives us a nice look at what’s ahead.
