TGS 2010: Dead or Alive: Dimensions Announced

It seems that Team Ninja’s bad times are officially behind them. Yesterday, at a closed dinner, the team’s new leader Yosuke Hayashi took the change to announce the return of two of the developers’ most beloved franchises: the already-announced Ninja Gaiden 3 and Dead or Alive.
Dead or Alive coming to the Nintendo 3DS with a title named “Dead or Alive: Dimensions”, a game that includes all story points between the original Dead or Alive and Dead or Alive 4 with a few additions to keep the plot coherent.
Ninja Gaiden 3 however, is so early in development that little has been disclosed about it, except that it defines the team’s new direction and that it will be multiplatform.
