While not a day one offering, it looks like the wait for the nostalgic trip that is Ocarina of Time on 3DS won’t be that painful, with Nintendo aiming to launch the title sometime in June. Company president Satoru Iwata dropped the tidbit during his GDC keynote address earlier today.

Previously, Nintendo said it’d arrive “after E3,” so this release window is a little more concrete. For a look at familiar locales from the title, hit the break for new screenshots. 3D effect aside, the higher-resolution textures and vibrant visuals certainly make this a worthy revisit, in our opinion.

Already launched in Japan, the glasses-free 3DS hits North American shelves on March 27, backed by a 16 title-strong lineup.
