Next Minecraft Update Adds Wolves, Stats Tracking

Sandbox juggernaut Minecraft continues to expand, with creator Notch announcing that a sizable patch is due out this week. Highlights include wolves, the ability to change spawn points, topping off with “a rather ambitious statistics tracking and achievement system.”
Going forward, Notch plans to turn his attention to the modding aspect of Minecraft, in hopes of delivering an oft-requested official API solution for community developers.
