While Nintendo is taking drastic measures to move 3DS hardware off store shelves with a $80 price cut, the software side of business remains healthy. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D, released in June, has moved over 1 million copies.

The tally is a worldwide figure, with 810,000 units split across North America and Europe. Around 270,000 units were sold in Japan. That makes it the third title to break the one million barrier on 3DS, joined by Nintendogs + Cats and Super Street Fighter IV 3D.
