Famitsu Sales Figures: PS3 Outsells Wii In Japan

According to Famitsu sales figures for the week ending November 11, the PS3 managed to sell through 56,000 units, compared to the Wii’s weekly number of 35,000. Meanwhile, the battle of the handhelds still rages on, with the Nintendo DS Lite pushing a whopping 82,000 units while the PSP sold 52,000. Despite the slight increase in sales last week, Xbox 360 numbers went down to a mere 7,000.

In terms of software sales, Mario Party DS was the top performer this week, with Dynasty Warriors 6 for the PS3 coming in at second and Super Mario Galaxy at a distant third.
