Sony Makes Fortune’s 101 “Dumbest” Moments In Business

Over on Fortune magazine’s 101 dumbest moments in business feature, Sony made number 61 for none other than the infamous and rather embarrassing incident known as the Goat incident. Controversy arose when word got out that Sony used a decapitated goat as the centerpiece for a God of War II launch party in Greece.
Sony made the list again at number 63 for its decision to use the Manchester Cathedral as the setting for a climactic shootout in Resistance: Fall of Man. And no, Nintendo didn’t make the list, but Microsoft did at number 16 for e-mailing a 13-page dossier on a Wired editor to the editor himself!
