Star Ocean 2: Second Evolution Dated For Japan

While Star Ocean: The First Departure has yet to be released in North America, publisher Square Enix announced today that Japan will receive the sequel on April 2. Star Ocean 2: Second Evolution is a remake of the PlayStation classic, featuring updated visuals, all-new character designs, extra playable characters, and fully voiced dialogue.
Set to retail at 4,800 yen, those who pre-order the sequel will receive a free promotional DVD disc containing footage from Star Ocean 4 and future tri-Ace titles.
