Valve has been quite reluctant towards sharing details on the next Half-Life. The question of ‘when it’s coming’ has been shrugged off on numerous occasions by Gabe Newell himself. It’s peculiar, then, that a Valve employee was wearing a t-shirt that promotes Half-Life 3.
The shirt was spotted by UberEnt art director and exec producer Chandana Ekanayake at a local game developer event, which he promptly tweeted a photo of on Twitter.
Realistically, it could be Valve just messing with its fans. The enlarged 3 gives the impression that whoever was wearing this shirt didn’t want it to go unnoticed. Regardless, the optimist in us will take this a sign of hope.
