Report: Just Cause 3 In Development

Just Cause 2 was a resounding commercial and critical success for Square Enix, selling 3.5 million copies to date. So much so, that according to a Hollywood Reporter piece, the company plans on following it up with a third game.
No further details were spared, only that it’s “in development.”
This comes amid news that comic book writer Bryan Edward Hill has been tapped to pen a film adaption of the franchise, entitled Just Cause: Scorpion Rising. A video game with a laughable plot doesn’t strike us as prime material for the silver screen, but well, we are excited about wrecking havoc in Just Cause 3.
