GSC: S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2 Still In Dev, Needs Funding

Despite reports indicating that the studio was on the brink of closure, a post on the company’s Facebook page suggests development on post-apocalyptic effort S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2 is still progressing.
“The Stalker team is extremely happy! Why? Because we are continuing work on Stalker 2 after the holidays,” reads the post.
While there’s still a snag, things sound more hopeful than before. GSC spokesperson Oleg Yavorsky tells Edge that the company is in the process of trying to secure funding for the project.
“We are still in the process of seeking funding to back up the project. We are hopeful things turn out well eventually. The team really wants to see STALKER continue,” said Yavorsky.
