Take-Two Considering BioShock, Civilization MMO

A BioShock MMO? Just where did this crazy idea come from! No one really knows for sure, but Take-Two chairman Strauss Zelnick mentioned the possibility of moving BioShock into the MMO space to company investors during this year’s Smid Cap Conference.
Not just BioShock, though. In Take-Two’s “potential untapped opportunities” Powerpoint slide was mention of a possible MMO take on Sid Meier’s Civilization strategy franchise as well. According to the slide, Take-Two is also considering mobile editions of BioShock and its casually targeted Carnival Games franchise, as well as a film adaptation of BioShock.
Okay. I can see Carnival Games moving to mobiles, definitely. BioShock? It’d work, but not well. Same goes for the MMO.
