Microsoft E3 Presser To Focus On Xbox Live Services, Says Pachter
by May 7, 2012 @ 11:39 am
Microsoft has been bullish towards expanding Xbox Live with content services like Hulu, Netflix and HBO Go. It sounds like we’ll see more on that front during E3.
During a visit to the company’s Redmond headquarters, Wedbush Morgan Securities analyst Michael Pachter was told not to expect “a lot of game stuff,” but rather a focus on “dashboard, interface [and] multimedia” come E3 time.
While a lack of focus on game reveals may disappoint some, the announcements Microsoft has in store could pave the way for its Xbox 360 successor. That’s a little exciting, right?
