PlayStation Plus to Get Revamped, Announcement Coming at E3

Is PlayStation Plus getting a makeover? It certainly looks that way. According to sources close to Eurogamer, Sony will make a major announcement regarding its paid online service next week during its E3 press conference.
Sony will reportedly attempt to woo gamers by offering Plus subscribers free downloads of top games. Consider me wooed — where’s my credit card? Plus already offers some sweet discounts and great free content for subscribers. By offering big releases for free (I assume there will be certain stipulations), the service can potentially become pretty huge.
Additionally, Plus will now be incorporated into the PlayStation Vita. Adopters of Sony’s handheld will be able to download exclusive Vita titles and DLC, and cloud saving will be functional with the device, as well. That means gamers won’t have to connect the Vita to the PlayStation 3 or PC to back up their data. How convenient!
We’ll know for sure if Sony has anything planned for its Plus service next Tuesday, when the company delivers its presser in Los Angeles at E3.
