Following in the footsteps of Dragon’s Lair, Rayman Origins is slowly making its way to every single platform known to man. Yesterday, it was revealed via the PlayStation Blog that Ubisoft’s delightful 2D platforming romp was made available on the PlayStation Network. And yes, I’m well aware that that’s just an extension of the PlayStation 3, but still (argument of the century).
Rayman Origins will retain its $29.99 price tag on the PlayStation Network. For PlayStation Plus subscribers, however, the game has received a small reduction and will cost those folks $23.99. Not a bad price for such an excellent title.
Rayman Origins is currently available at retail on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Vita. You can also download it for PC on Steam or directly from Ubisoft. Additionally, the 3DS version will launch next week. Throw in the downloadable PlayStation Network version, and you’ve got seven different options for buying and playing Rayman Origins. Did I miss any?
