New Super Mario Bros. 2 will be a unique title for Nintendo. It’s going to be the first full game that’s available in both physical form at retailers and as a digital download through the eShop. To commemorate the Big N’s first time going in that direction, Club Nintendo members will get the chance to score some sweet rewards.

You could purchase New Super Mario Bros. 2 at retail and get 50 Coins for registering it through Club Nintendo. You could do that, or you could download the full game through the eShop and snag a whopping 100 Coins! Because why should Mario get all the gold?

It looks like Nintendo is really trying to promote its digital movement. Here’s hoping the company continues to dish out plentiful rewards like this with future releases.

Club Nintendo has some pretty awesome rewards for gamers, and with monthly downloadable offerings, there are certainly plenty of reasons to register your games and save up those Coins. Aside from cool shirts and posters, we’ve seen games like The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask and Fluidity make their way to Club Nintendo for folks to download. So yeah, this rewards club is pretty cool.
