Activision is publishing yet-another game based on the Spider-Man franchise, entitled Spider-Man: Web of Shadows.

Set for release this fall, the game is currently in development by California-based Shaba Games and Treyarch for nearly every gaming platform under the sun, including the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2, PSP, Nintendo DS, Wii and PC.

Said to feature free-roaming environments and of course an overabundance of web slinging action, Web of Shadows promises to give players an “unprecedented level of gameplay control.” According to Activision, players will be able to control nearly every aspect of the game, including how Spidey fights and who he fights against, which powers to upgrade, and the fate of New York City itself.
