Rayman Jungle Run Is a Nice-Looking iOS, Android Game

Ubisoft’s limbless hero is headed to mobile devices. Rayman Jungle Run was recently announced for iOS and Android devices, and it will star the titular protagonist in a runner-type game.
Jungle Run looks pretty impressive, which shouldn’t be too surprising since it’s built on the UbiArt engine just like the beautiful console and PC versions of last year’s Rayman Origins. The game’s world seems inspired by that game, but with an emphasis on running gameplay, so it may just be different enough to warrant some interest from mobile gamers.
Jungle Run is due out on mobile platforms on September 20. Additionally, retina display functionality for the iPad version has been confirmed, as has cloud saving and leaderboard support.
