The New PlayStation Store Now Up and Running Across Europe

Last week wasn’t exactly the most successful period for the launch of the new PlayStation Store in Europe. After being temporarily postponed in the UK and other PAL territories due to severe issues, it looks like Sony’s finally addressed the problems and has officially released the revamped digital shop across Europe.

While a few European territories had access to the PlayStation Store last week, several others weren’t so fortunate. The issue arose after download, PlayStation Plus, and wallet bugs plagued the system. It looks as though that’s no longer the case. “The new PlayStation Store is now live in all EU territories,” tweeted SCEE.

It’s great to see the new and improved (?) PlayStation Store up and running throughout all of Europe. Here’s hoping it remains functional. We’ll be staying tuned for the upcoming release of the modified digital platform in North America.
